The room at Dou Houz Georgetown was neat and offered good value. the staff were amicable and the setting was exceptionally nice, with easy access to a soaring skyscraper nearby. having a large supermarket right next door was convenient.

Had a very relaxing stay in my next visit up north. The hotel was in a good location just off Penang and the Hostel, the main bus station and Komtar, famous chendol, lorong baru, lorong presgrave for street food. It also was in the heart of Georgetown.

We had a perfect stay at Dou Houz! the location was ideal, just a short 10, minute walk to the Georgetown UNESCO heritage site and street art. We loved being able to explore the town on foot. the owner was incredibly kind and gave us fantastic recommendations for places to eat and explore. He even allowed us to store our bags after check, out. the private rooms were spacious, clean, and extremely comfortable. the shared bathrooms were always clean, and the showers and toilets had hot water. Having access to a kitchen with hot and cold water, a hob, and a fridge was a great bonus. Dou Houz was one of our favorite hostels on our 3, month Asian adventure. Cons: Nothing bad to say. Outstanding experience! ⭐️.
